Farmville UMC is travelling to Haiti October 8-15th, 2011.  You can help by attending a their first big fundraiser--BBQ DINNER - May 21st at the Farmville United Methodist Church. If you would like tickets you can pick them up at the FarmvilleUnited Methodist Church office or call to reserve them at 434-392-4686.  You can also contact Rich Meiser at the Wesley Foundation farmvillewesley(at)embarqmail.com, or e-mail Colleen at cmeisnp08(at)gmail.com and tickets will be reserved for you. The tickets are $12.50.  The smoked pork will be cooked by Rich Meiser (Wesley Foundation) and Bob Crews (Boydton UMC). Homemade rolls, sides and desserts will be from the kitchens of some very good cooks/chefs.  This promises to be a treat. Remember that through purchasing a ticket you will be helping to fund the mission trip to Haiti. Donations will also be accepted.  Download the flyer, print it, and hang it, and help us to get the word out!
