Dear Farmville District UMM,
Please read the UMM Beacon (click here). Please note the following important announcements:
(1) The March 24, 2012 Annual Spring UMM Training Event to be held at Welborne UMC, Richmond. This is always a very good and important meeing for UMM in the VA Conference. I am praying that the Farmville District will have a record number attend this year. Arrange some car pools. Contact me if you have questions.
(2) SCOUTING NEWS......We need to promote more scouting in the Farmville District. If you need help, contact our scouting advodate Eric Eberly eeberly(at)vt.edu
(3) See the write up "The Charter" by John Dowell, President, National Association of Conf. Presidents. This answers many questions some chapters have about becoming a charged unit of UMM.
(4) CAMPERS & STAFF NEEDED FOR CAMP RAINBOW CONNECTION 2012. SPREAD THE WORD!
